This is often used as the primary beverage in what is referred to as the Master Cleanse. You have the option of using grade B Maple Syrup that contains a high mineral count and great for curbing hunger pangs. You can also use agave, which contains inulin, a probiotic that supports the good bacteria in your intestines.
Lemons are a great way to cleanse the first 12 inches of the intestinal track; the first 12 inches are where nutrient absorption happens.
Cayenne pepper should be the hottest you can find.
How to make Lemon, Maple Syrup and Cayenne Water:
What you will need:
- Organic Lemons
- Grade B Maple Syrup
- Cayenne Pepper
- Clean water
- Glass bottles
- A Citrus Juicer
- Measuring Cup
- Measuring spoons
Start by juicing your organic lemons. You will need a quarter cup of lemon juice for every liter of water. I like to use nice liter glass bottles for my lemonade. Pouring in a ¼ cup of lemon juice and a ¼ cup of Maple Syrup, you are now ready to add in your purified water. Fill the water to the top, cover and shake. Taste your lemonade, if you like it sweeter you can add a touch more maple syrup. If you’re like me I like to add a bit less maple syrup because I don’t like my lemonade as sweet.
Approximately 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper is now added. If you like it super spicy gradually add more in and taste to your liking.
